Fitzwilliam Museum Portico, University of Cambridge.

First opened to the public in 1848, the beautiful Grade I listed Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge now appears in its original splendour following the successful refurbishment of the grand neo-classical entrance portico and restoration of the front railings. Meticulous research into the historic detail and careful repairs transformed flaking paint, a leaking roof and damaged ornamental plasterwork into the magnificent entrance this museum deserves.
