Michael joined the practice in 1999 and became a partner in 2007. He has extensive experience in the design and delivery of complex and challenging projects. His technical expertise, attention to detail and his ability to work across many building types reinforces the practices emphasis on ensuring that the practice delivers a professional and responsive service to its clients.
Michael maintains a key involvement in all his projects and under his leadership the practice has achieved a reputation for delivering considered and well-crafted buildings.
Robert joined AMA in March 2014. Previously he worked as Chief Architect at Barker Associates and prior to that as Managing Partner of Vohmann Clark Architects which he established in 2000.
Robert is a creative thinker and his excellent design skills, attention to detail, and sound technical knowledge ensure that he is able to work effectively in a developing industry. His 35 years’ experience working in Architecture means that Robert is well equipped to join Michael in moving forward into the future with AMA.
Duncan Annand, Dip Arch Registered Architect, Consultant
Duncan worked for a short period in Scotland before moving to Cambridge to work in the office of Sir Leslie Martin. He then worked with Barry Gasson & Brit Andresen playing a major role in the design of the Burrell Museum. Following a further spell with Sir Leslie Martin he joined Robert Matthew Johnson-Marshall & Partners and designed several major projects at home and overseas.
Duncan formed Annand & Mustoe Architects (AMA) in 1985 in partnership with Jeremy Mustoe.
